Series Overview
In the mystical world of Athia, a young boy named Tsekouri works as a slave for his master, Malsumis. But when he escapes the clutches of servitude, a power awakes and he travels to Earth meeting new friends. August, a bright young woman and her best friend, Rebecca Zhanshi- The Runaway Princess of Athia. The three are all very different in nature, but have one thing in common.. They’re wanted by “Maelstrom” The military that rules Athia.
Tsekouri, Rebecca, & August propel themselves into the spotlight of Maelstrom’s conquest, being hunted by Malsumis himself. While Tsekouri fights for freedom, he struggles unlocking his powers that will shape his destiny.

Tsekouri
Raised into slavery, Kouri has dreamed of being a part of the outside world by writing stories of adventures and heroism. When Kouri’s friend is killed, he realizes he must take fate into his own hands and become a hero like in his stories.

​ Although Kouri is a young boy, his compassion and sense of righteousness lead the group into fierce confrontations against Maelstrom. With dreams of taking down the syndicate, he stays optimistic through hardship.
Rebecca Zhanshi
Rebecca Zhanshi fled her home many years ago to escape Athia’s turmoil. Once a Princess of The Zhanshi Family, Rebecca now works alone as a mechanic to help the people of her adopted mountain town.
When Tsekouri abruptly arrives on earth, her life is thrown off course. If she’s going to help him fight Maelstrom, she will need to face her demons.
August
An Orphan alone in the world, August was lost until she met Becca. With a life full of love for movies and television, she’s the knowledgeable jokester of the group. Just like Kouri she yearns for adventure. But lacking powers, August still tries her best to fit in and help.

Malsumis is the young protégé of Maelstrom, and he will do everything to be seen as a legend. Belonging to an elite crew known as “The Cavalieri”, he is commanded to watch over the mines, hoping his effort is noticed.
When Kouri escapes, he will stop at nothing to capture him, and retain his status.

Coyote
Coyote is Malsumis’ mysterious right hand man– or being. A quiet but observant figure who gathers information before striking, spying on Kouri, Becca, & August. He sends minions to test the group’s strength before engaging.
Coyote is a calculated fighter whose origins are unknown, as his face is never seen without his mask.

Once a slave like Kouri, Chamberlain veered down a different path and now serves Maelstrom. Under the wing of the syndicate, he acts as pawn to develop weaponry and advances in their technology.

Chamberlain’s real motive for joining Maelstrom is to solve his grandfather’s disappearance. Although he was once close with Kouri, his journey through the syndicate further divides their friendship.

Leane
Leane is a cold hearted warrior of The Cavalieri, who uses a gargantuan hammer to intimidate her subordinates and foes. She recruits Chamberlain into Malestom, becoming his mentor.

Leane is viewed as the golden child of Maelstrom, adored by all. but when Malsumis rises to fame, she enacts a plan to rid of him his status.
Estes Park, Colorado
A small mountain town at the base of The Rockies. Estes Park is an isolated town in a forest wonderland.

This town is where Tsekouri first begins.
Athia
-Athia is a world with themes centered around High Fantasy-Low Scifi. The main aesthetic of Athia, is an alien like twist on European architecture, taken to the EXTREME!
Each City / Town is represented by a different musical instrument. For example, the music played in the scenes of Tsekouri’s mining town is primarily accordion based.
Although Athia is a massive planet, the people fear the colossal militia known as MAELSTROM, who threatens the livelihood of all beings.

MAELSTROM
Being the antagonists of the series, this syndicate controls Athia with massive fleets consisting of land, air, and space superiority. Their motivation of ruling, is to form Athia into a new world..
The Cavaleri are a group of seven young warriors all from different backgrounds, but united to serve together.
Each member is equipped with a weapon of mass power. When first making contact with said weapon, the user is granted a vision of their destiny. If the user is unable to process what's presented before them, markings below their eyes will form.
